The Fed’s Guidance vs. Market Expectations

The Fed expects that the Federal Funds rate will be at 5.1% in 2023 and 4.1% in 2024.

The market expects the Federal Funds rate to reach 4.9% by June on 2023, and the Fed to start cutting in November 2023 down to 3% by the end of 2024.
